Large Proposals 101 ($240)

The aim of this workshop is to provide support and career development for individuals new to RD, or who have had (or anticipate) a shift in their work priorities to include large, multi-investigator proposals. We will use hands-on, theory-and-practice approaches to provide a basic toolkit to competently approach any large proposal, even if the agency is new to you. How do you dissect the RFA? How do you identify essential proposal content? How can you "manage up" to help create structures that will both review well and create an effective center or research group? The focus will be on proposals for grants for large, interdisciplinary, multi-investigator initiatives, including those with research components.
