Our differences make us who we are and provide us with a unique lens to view the world. In the field of team science and research development, these differences are crucial in creating breakthroughs and innovation. In a mentoring relationship, trust is critical and to build trust, we have to each be our own complete selves. However, our differences can sometimes create challenges and navigating those challenges are necessary for the success of a mentoring relationship. With that in mind, our panelists will share their thoughts, advice and information on how to build on successful mentoring relationships across differences.
